Johnny Caluya aka JC TASCAM has been crafting guitar heavy psychedelic music in Chicago for 20 years. Formerly of VERMA and Where The Moon Came From, and currently in Surgery Boys and 100 Years Of Solid ‘Tude. This is his first foray into a solo effort, mixing synthesizers and drum machines to create a landscape underneath searing guitar leads. Johnny’s upcoming album was recorded over the past decade and was finished and compiled during 2020 to reflect our current dystopian climate. Centering the lyrics on the effects of war, death, fear and anxiety, within these songs is optimism in rebirth.
